This item provides information on these topics:

Overview

This article will explain how to use an MSU Classroom computer to access Netprint and print to specific MSU printers available within that Computer Classroom.

Log into netprint.msu.edu

Using a web browser, go to http://netprint.msu.edu and login with your NetID and password. Your NetID shows at the top and indicates you are logged and ready to print available in that Computer Classroom and your available e-tokens. It also shows the print jobs that are being sent to the printer in that Computer Classroom.

Print your document

From the "File" menu choose Print and select the printer to which you want to print. The printer in that Computer Classroom will be the default printer. Double check whether the setting you choose will print your document double or single sided. Some Classroom computers print documents double-sided by default. To change this setting, click on the drop down menu and select the appropriate option.

Note: An E-token(s) is required for each printed side. A double-sided page with printing on the front and back requires twice the e-tokens as a single printed side.

Print Status

To show the status of your print you can use the button “Show current print info”.

Print History

You can see your “Print History” by selecting it from the left frame.

Account History

You can also check your overall “Account History” by selecting it from the left frame. From the same screen, students may purchase e-tokens if needed.

Note: You must logout when you are done to protect your account.

Printing from your Wireless Computer

You can use your personal laptop to print through Netprint in Computer Classrooms using wireless as long as have the correct printer driver and settings on your computer.
