Note on NetID services for surviving spouses of MSU Faculty/Staff/Retirees
Access to NetID services (dialup, email, etc) for surviving spouses of MSU Faculty/Staff is dependent on whether the Faculty/Staff was vested with the University, as determined by MSU Human Resources (a Retiree is vested by definition). Surviving spouses should contact Human Resources at 517-353-3720 to verify their eligibility for spousal benefits, which includes most NetID services. Once this is verified, the surviving spouse should submit a PIN request as listed under "Request my PIN" above; this will in turn be used to establish a new NetID for that surviving spouse.Activate my NetID
