Overview
ATS will be performing its annual software upgrade in the MSU computer classrooms (labs). Supporting faculty and students may be affected as ATS rolls out the new software throughout July and August. The upgrades will begin in non-instructional locations and will ensure campus computers use software with added security measures, new features, and cutting-edge technology.
What software will be upgraded?
- Adobe Reader 9.0
- AMOS 7.0
- Autodesk 2008 to 2010 (may affect non-upgraded locations)
- Autodesk Design Review 2010
- Firefox 3
- Foxit
- iTunes
- JAWS 10.0
- Mathematica
- Microsoft Office 2007 (Microsoft 2003 will continue to be available in most locations)
- PASW 17.0 (formerly SPSS)
NOTE: AutoDesk does not allow multiple versions of the software to be simultaneously licensed by the server. Users may experience licensing errors in locations where the newest version is not yet available. Please contact the ATS Help desk to address these licensing issues on an individual basis as needed.
This is only a temporary situation and will be resolved as soon as all software images are converted to the newest version of AutoDesk.
