Overview
Laptops equipped with Intel 4965 wireless adapters may experience random disconnections from MSUnet Wireless 2.0. These disconnections are caused by the methods used by Intel wireless adapters to communicate with MSUnet Wireless 2.0.
Usually updating to the latest Intel wireless driver version will remedy this problem.
Step 1: Download the Driver
To download the latest driver:
- Open a new tab or window in your browser
- Navigate to Intel's driver download site.
- Select your operating system from the drop-down menu, or if you are uncertain, select
"All Operating Systems" for an OS independent version.
- Click "Go!"
Step 2: Save Driver File to Desktop
When the file download dialog displays, click Save and select an appropriate location (ie: your desktop) to save the file to.
Step 3: Start the Driver Installation
Open the saved file to start the installation and follow the prompts.
Step 4: Restart your Computer
Restart your computer to begin using the new driver.
